Instructional Programs

- Creative Writing: stories and plays.
I discuss the writing/creative process.
In addition to my own process, I share
insights from C.S. Lewis, Steven King,
Katherine Paterson, and many others.
- Appalachian Music: Through music and
stories, I provide an overview of Appalachian music. This presentation
includes Celtic music, African spirituals, old-time fiddle tunes, bluegrass, and
ballads. A variety of instruments are used, including guitar, banjo, concertina,
mountain dulcimer, hammer dulcimer and harmonica.
